Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, like many hospitals, is struggling with a nursing shortage. Some 50 beds lie empty at the hospital because there aren't enough nurses to staff them. Competition for nurses among hospitals is fierce, so facilities such as Tallahassee Memorial are having to find new ways to attract them.

Yeah, well couldn't possibly be because nurses are the most down trodden, abused and lowly paid people in the universe could it???? I mean puleeeze, give 'em a decent wage package and incentives to learn and nurses will move the planets to work for you. Sorry, bad day discusing the concept of overtime with the pay office -" You want O/T because you three shifts on two days??? " I mean it's only the LAW. Discuss it with my union rep...
