FL IPN wanting to work agency!

I am in my third year of recovery through IPN in Fl and they just have me clearance for agency nursing!!! The problem is two-fold.

1. I have been a case manager for the last 2 years and a lot of the agencies are requesting recent 12-months in bedside nursing.

2. Most don't work with IPN!!

I am wondering if anyone knows of any agencies that work with or hire nurses in IPN???

I think calling the agencies would be the best bet- I doubt many people in the program would know as we cannot work agency. I imagine if an agency can hire you they will as their compensation comes from staffing a critical need.

You're very fortunate, our program doesn't allow agency nursing at all. If IPN is anything like my program, each facility where you work must be informed of your participation in the program and have a nurse on the floor with you to be aware as well. That's the procedure in place if we get floated to another unit. I hope it works out for you, good luck.

Yes I feel so lucky to be able to now work agency!! I am just hoping to be able to participate in an agency that will hire! So I will continue to call agencies, do my part, and allow God to do the rest :)
