FIU Nursing BSN

My daughter is a Senior in High School and received her letter of admission which indicated she was also admitted for the Nursing BSN Program. I thought that she wouldn't be applying into the actual College of Nursing until a she had completed her first 2 years. Anyone here have any experience with FIU nursing as a freshman?

Yeah, I'm not sure what that's all about. If she's just coming out of high school, FIU would have her on file as studying Pre-Nursing. Once she completes all her pre-reqs, she would have to apply seperately to the nursing college. For example, I had to have all my pre-reqs done by the spring term of this year to apply for the fall '12 term. The only exceptions are for the COM and NUR classes that are required - they can be taken in summer A. I submitted my application packet two weeks ago and will find out their decision next month. At that point (if accepted), they would change my status from Pre-Nursing to just Nursing.
