Starting new thread for FIU’s potential 2021 CRNA Cohort. Post stats, important dates, application FAQs, and other relevant admission info here. Please omit names for privacy.

Application is Due May 5, 2020.

Is there anyone else interviewing without GRE scores? I got invited for an interview yesterday but I'm worried that the GRE may still hold me back from getting admitted. At this point, I'm not able to schedule an at home test time and I dont know when the testing sites will re-open. For those curious to know, I received my email yesterday (6/2) at 4:54p. I submitted my application to NursingCAS 5/27, and it was verified 5/28.

I'm trying to contact ETS right now to see when the testing sites will open. They have me in queue now. Last night I did a Google search and apparently this has been ongoing issue with ProtorU since late April. There is a whole forum on Reddit where other students are posting about having similar issues when it comes to taking the test at home.

Ahh how'd you get yours verified so fast? ? cuz I submitted mine on 5/21 and it still hasn't been verified. ? I'm so disappointed but I'm hoping for the best for all of you!

I'm not sure. It may be that I have already applied to other schools via NursingCAS so my transcripts have already been verified. I remember when I submitted my application, their website stated that it could up to two weeks to get verified. I suspect that may apply to people who have never had their transcripts verified.

Oh that's true I sent my transcripts late so that could be why ... Well there's always next year!

I thought it was weird that yours didn’t get verified. I turned in my last transcript on the 19th. It got to nursing cas on the 28th & They had me verified On the 29th

I called today and I was told that your application won't be reviewed if it was not verified by June 1st.

I feel as though this should have been clearly stated. I submitted my App 5/22 and nursingcas verfied it once my last transcripts was received. Then I received a correction emailed on 5/28 stating I needed 2 more transcripts (from high school) I quickly sent it off but those those transcripts were paper and will take 7-10 days.

So I guess I'm out of the loop too. If I wouldve known sooner that was required I would've rushed to finish my app early may! I feel like FIU is loosing out on good applicant by not continually reviewing more applications once verified.

Yeah I wish they had clearly stated it had to be verified by June 1 instead of submitted by...but it's OK there's always next time!
