Hello Alex,

Great, thank you for this!

By any chance, do you have any idea on when FIU would announce or reach out to applicants with their decision?

Hi Caroline!

They told me somewhat in August. Hopefully we start hearing from them at middle/end of July.

Much appreciated Alex! And wishing you the best of luck!

Hello, I just emailed ---------------------- Email below....

Our admission process usually takes 6-8 weeks for us to issue a final decision. Undergraduate Admissions does not provide admission to applicants since we are a limited access program. They can only defer your application to us pending the final decision after the review of your Nursing CAS application. You will receive a decision around mid-to-end of August via email.

Nice to meet you all, best of luck to everyone! I have a 3.5 pre-requisite GPA and overall 3.7 GPA and scored a 94% on my TEAS if anyone else feels comfortable sharing their stats please do!

Nice to meet everyone. I don't mind sharing stats, 3.75 cum GPA from my Master's, 4.0 GPA on the prerequisites, and TEAS score was 86%. Thank you @1125Nurse for sharing the info from your email. Fingers crossed, good luck everyone!

Was anyone able to complete any volunteer hours within the medical field?  I am a little nervous about that part.

My stats are as follows:

3.9 GPA pre-requisites, 3.8 overall GPA, 81% TEAS exam. I did not complete any volunteer hours but I work as a scribe in the medical field. I'm very nervous about that part too.

Wishing all of you good luck!

Hello everyone!

Sharing my stats:

TEAS: 87%
GPA Pre-Req 3.86 and 3.88 overall

No volunteer hours ? but a little/short experience in the field from years ago

Good luck to all!

I was reading last years forum for this program and they were told they would hear back from FIU at the end of August to early September by Christian but ended up getting accepted by July 23rd. I really hope it's the same this year, I am super anxious to hear back from them.

@1125Nurse, @alex0724, & @Caroline-B-T, your test scores & grades are really good, congratulations on your hard work/accomplishments.

I was able to have a meeting with one of our admissions advisors, Michelle Coven, a few months ago and she gave me a run-down of what to expect from the program. It is a rigorous program and I remember her sharing that there will be a couple of checkpoints to evaluate whether we know the content. It sounds like the program really prepares us to do well on the NCLEX exam. I am curious what labs & clinicals will be like as well. I really want to go to FIU, fingers crossed we get in!

Have you guys received any emails or calls yet? The anticipation is REAL lolol.
