So following up from my previous posts dated back about a year or so ago, I got accepted into my first choice!

I chose Hilo because of their 2 year BSN program ;)

Anyway, my orientation week begins on August 20th.

What should I expect during this week?

Any survival tips for my first year? Clinicals, study tips ESP. on exams, organizational skills, etc.

So excited, yippie :)

Hey!! It looks like we are going to be classmates! I also got into UH Hilo and start in August. I can tell you are as excited/nervous as I am. I have been looking at this site religiously to try and figure out what I will be up against. I'm also interested in what we will be doing during orientation week. I'm glad we wont have to pass the math test but I'm still studying dosage calculations. Other than that, I have no clue what we will be doing. Well good luck and see you in a few weeks!

My third time was my lowest and my first was my highest which was a 70% I think? My GPA was a 3.9 :) I'm just terrible at taking tests, I have test anxiety lol. We're you thinking of applying to this program?

Hi!

I know this post is really late but I was wondering if I could get some updates on UH Hilo? How is it going so far? I am planning to transfer there after I get my ADN and RN. But I heard that you need to be a resident of Hawaii or a student from any Hawaii college or university. Is this true? Because I am not from Hawaii but I plan to transfer to UH Hilo!

Thank you,

An aspiring nurse who is currently going to start her college career because she just graduated from high school LOL :)
