First Year @ Tx Wesleyan / classroom hours

I've been lurking in this forum for years, but this is my first post. I am prepared to apply to both Tx Wesleyan and TWU this fall. I am curious about the classroom hours of the first year of the program. Current students, could you please let me know what they are? Do you attend classes Monday thru Friday? What time do they start and end?

I tried to look at the registration page on each schools website but the anesthesia courses are not listed.

Thanks!

The last fall was basically full days MWF, and you will have various assigned labs T and Th. With study time, I think most probably averaged about 60-70 hrs./wk. They made a great effort to schedule one test per week, so as not to crowd out study time for any of the subjects. It isn't perfect (scheduling) but I don't know of any that is. This spring has been pretty much the same, but add about 5-10hrs/ wk of study.

I just interviewed at Tx Wes. They told me that the 2007 class will be MWF from 8a-5p, but in the spring the classes will be same days but 8a-6p. Occassionally on T or TH there will be skills lab. Also, you can come on campus on T or TH and watch your pathophys lectures again on TV (you can also do this at your home computer if you have permission). Apparently they advise you to watch the lectures more than once, as it's such a difficult course. That's all I know. On pins and needles now cuz they made their decisions yesterday and are mailing out the letters today.

Thanks for the information. I understand that regardless of classroom hours, CRNA school will be all consuming. Good luck with your letter!
