AAAAARRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!
I'm on my little 30 minute break from studying the NCLEX and I'm absolutely going CRAZY!!! I'm sick of studying. I'll B taking boards @ the end of July'03. Please.... say a prayer4me. I'm so nervous about this test. I'm just sick of looking at these questions on the CD. I'm soooo excited about becoming an RN. Unfortunately... NCLEX is standing in the way!!!!!!! AAARRGGGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, just had 2 vent....and let it OUT! My family, parents, and friends say that "you'll do fine". They don't no what I'm going through. I'm starting 2 feel the pressure. Anyways.... thanks4 listening 2 me vent on my upcoming NCLEX exam.

I wish you loads of luck for the end of July - I am sure you will be ok if you can keep the nerves away!
I am studying hard too and hope to do mine in september - I am an RN in the UK and feel a little scared about the NCLEX as it is a long long time since I did exams!!!
Anyway, Good luck!

I'm taking it this Wednesday, and I have studied myself to death! Today, I am reviewing my labs and dosage calculations. Tomorrow, I'm going to the beach by myself to vegitate.
Best of luck to you.

I think we all make ourselves a little sick and a little crazy studying for these boards. It might help a bit to go for a long walk, just something for a breather. You tackle it with renewed energy if you have a bit of a break. Good luck - and just remember to not read through the questions too fast! It will pass (and so will you :)

I recently passed the NCLEX & looking back, I realize that I stressed myself out too much. My advice to those who have yet to take it & are in panic mode, is to just relax. Just keep doing practice questions every day & remember to take breaks. Don't burn out. Definitely STOP the day before the exam & do something fun. You'll want to have a fresh head going in. Also, remember that most of us end up leaving the exam feeling like we failed. But, if you read the many posts, most end up passing. YOU WILL TOO.
GOOD LUCK!

THere are 3 important things to know to pass the NCLEX
1st what LPN can do verses RN
RN can do assessments, LPN can't etc.
ABC- AIRWAY, Breathing Circulation
PRIORITIZING- which pt. to see 1st
I passed the NCLEX with the minimum amount of questions last year! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL
