Hi,

Who else applied for Palomar's New Grad RN program for Fall 2018? Let's inform each other when we start to hear back!

It's June 27th

hello! i just found this thread...i also received an email today about an interview! i'm a little nervous tho because in the email it says there will be 7 different stations where i'll spend 10 minutes at each station and so i was wondering if anyone know what kind of questions they'll be asking and if we have to possibly "act out" a scenario?

I also heard back for an interview on June 28th!

Were emails only sent out yesterday?/is there a chance more will be sent out?

Specializes in MSN, RN, CCRN.

I was wondering the same thing. Are they still sending out interview invites? :(

Which hospital did you apply to? The one in Escondido or Poway or both?

Specializes in MSN, RN, CCRN.

Escondido but I was only able to apply to ER.

Any updates from anyone?

Hey all, I also applied to both locations but I haven't heard back yet :) Good luck to us all! To those who have upcoming interviews and are wondering what to expect, check out the thread from the previous residency. I think a few people talked about what it was like for them.

Is there anyone who got an interview for the 27th that would be willing to switch for the 28th? I am traveling in from out of town and the 27th would work better but I need someone to be able to switch with. Please let me know! My interview is the 28th at 230.

Yesterday was the deadline to confirm or deny interview time slots. I had to decline mine and was told the spot will be offered to another qualified applicant :) This was for the NICU btw. Best of luck!!

Specializes in ICU, urgent care, family practice.

I also applied to ED & med/surg. Chose ED, ICU, and med/surg to interview for. If anyone has any tips on getting through the interview successfully please share, we'd be so appreciative! So far I've been using youtube, previous allnurse posts, and advice from my other friends who have been hired at hospitals about what interview Qs to be prepared for.
