First Teaching Plan (Atrial Fibrillation)

Published

Hello,

So I have to make a teaching plan and wasn't sure how to go about doing that. There is no outline of how to do this, only 2 paragraphs of background information about the patient. Does anybody have any ideas, or what you may have done for your teaching plan?

If you were a patient and you have no prior medical knowledge and they told you that you had so and so disease. What would you want to know? How would you like for that information to be conveyed? Work from there and then post what you come up with and we will help from there

Well I know a few of my fellow classmates have made a pamphlet, so I'm trying to figure out how to make that on Microsoft Word now, but my teacher wants information for her as the instructor and then whatever we would give to the patient. So does she mean to just type up in paragraphs the information to her and then just use the Pamphlet as my Patient teaching portion. I know you aren't my instructor, but being she never elaborated on the information, would that be what you would guess she means?

You could probably write a paper that is geared towards the instructor and explain in the paper how you would go about educating the patient and what information you would provide and why it is important. Then you could go ahead with a pamphlet that you would give to the patient. That way the instructor knows that when you're providing education you're not just giving a handout to a patient but you're actually going to be teaching too.
