I just completed my first full month as a nurse. I am a GPN in a subacute ltc facility. I am working straight days for the time being as I am orienting. I find the position challenging and fun. I am constantly asking questions and observing what is going on around me. I still have to schedule my boards, I have yet to receive the ATT and as soon as I do I will be going to my regular schedule which is evenings.
I love my new role as a nurse and I look forward each day to learning something new about myself and my job.
