First Job

Hi, I graduate in May and have been job searching. I am really conflicted because I have an offer from an ER and a Neonatal ICU. I am unsure which to pick from a new grad perspective. I have always wanted to be a midwife and I think the NICU would provide great background but I think the ED would make me familiar with a wider range of Illnesses and better wholistically. I’m looking for some advice about how to pick between the two.

Your back will thank you later if you go to NICU, LOL.

Also, in NICU you will frequently be called to the delivery room to admit a premie or other ill newborn. If you wnt to be a midwife, that's better prep for that.

Hi! I am in a similar situation.. what did u ending up picking and what were the outcomes of your choice?
