First Job in NYC

Hi Everyone,

I am applying to NYU's Accelerated BSN program. I would like to know if anyone who has attended this program -- or any NYC nursing program -- has experienced the rumored difficulty finding jobs. (I do not have prev. care-giving experience).

For those of you who have had difficulty finding a first job, how long did it take you to land one? Was anyone able to find a job right away? What was your technique?
