First Interview on Tuesday!!!!!!

Hi, all!!! I'm new to this forum, but I wanted to let you all in on some exciting news! I have my FIRST interview EVER as a Patient Care Technician at a long-term acute care facility on Tuesday!!!!! I did my clinicals there, and LOVED it, and so I applied as soon as I got my certification! I got the call on Thursday and I couldn't stop smiling! This is my number one choice because all the nurses and PCTs were VERY helpful there, and it was such a positive atmosphere. It's amazingly clean too. I never witnessed anything bothersome about the cleanliness of the place (I have a thing with germs). It's a long-term facility, so the patients have chronic illnesses, severe wounds, diabetic problems, etc. When I did my clinicals, I had 2 patients with MS, so you get EVERYTHING there. I think it will be absolutely wonderful! I'm so excited!!! :w00t::hpygrp:

I know it's been a while since I posted this news here, but I did not get the job, unfortunately. :( I am actually still looking. I'm considering furthering my education in the medical assistant program. Still looking at my options.
