Finishing Prerequisites with low gpa

Hi guys, so far Im taking my last class, Pyschology and Im sure Im going to finish up with a low gpa. I would of been satisifed with a 3.0 but apparently last semester I was enrolling the gym class in my school and didnt complete the hours to pass and it dropped my gpa significantly. As of now I have a 2.570 gpa. Sucks I know. Is there anything I can do about it? I am 21 years old and feel as if I have no time left and should be finishing and working! It is also tough for me since I am disable due to having hearing loss. My college goes by selecting highest gpa but I am planning to apply elsewhere since I know for sure I do not have a chance there. Can anyone help? I feel as if my 3 years of nursing prerequisites were a complete fail.

Take the Gym class over again and make a decent grade. I'm guessing you failed the class which gave you a 1.00 or 0.00 credit on a 4.00 scale added into your GPA. This can have a horrendous impact on your GPA. If you take the class over again and make an A or a B (Gym should be an easy A) then that will replace that 1.00 or 0.00 credit with a 3.00 (B) or 4.00 (A) and will have a significant impact on raising your GPA.

Its ok if you enter the program late. I felt the same way before, i had to retake anatomy due to taking other hard classes and felt like i could have gotten in alot soon. I entered the program at 22 and most of my classmates are older. Most are in their high 20's, mid age, or are parents with full grown children.
