Finishing Nurs 3645... what to take next?

Published

I am finishing up nursing 3645. I am starting my math 1302 to be a 15 week course. I want to take 2-3 more nursing courses this fall. Any suggestions on what to take next?

I suggest Health Promotion, Legacy of the family, and Management

I think I am going to take Nurs 3325 Holistic Care of the Older Adult (11/4-12/6), Holistic Health Assessment (9/23-10/25), Health Promotion Across the Lifespan (9/23-10/25) and either Care of the Vulnerable Population (11/4-12/6) or Legacy of the family (11/4-12/6)

I doubled up on Health Assessment and Health Promotion. It was a lot of writing...but doable. Of all the possible combinations you could make with your courses, I'd stick with that.

I never needed to take Legacy so I can't tell you about it. But Vulnerable Populations is VERY heavy on the writing, so keep that in mind. Given that you have to write a life review for 3325, you may not want to take those two together.

Starting technical writing and professional Nursing on Nov 4th at UTA. Anyone else? any advices? can somebody tells me if there is any required book for professional nursing to buy. thank you.

To shara2RN2012, hi. can you tell me how was nurs 3645. thank you.

Hi theoZZ,

How was Prof Nursing? I will be starting ending the course soon. Was there a textbook required? How would you rate the class?

When I took the course a couple of years ago, there was no textbook. However, it would be very wise to get yourself a copy of the APA Manual and/or APA Made Easy. UTA is very strict when it comes to APA, and you don't want to be dinged left and right on APA issues.

Personally, I preferred the APA Manual over the Made Easy guide as the manual covers everything I could possibly want to know about APA.
