Finished my TEAS yesterday

It wasn't as bad as I thought, the math section was a little tough but mostly because I had to remember formulas.. :)

Is the TEAS study guide pretty much similar to the actual test? I know some test are nothing like the study guide.

Was told by my advisor to not sweat it and that it was a pretty simple test. Well I reviewed some math rules and so on but the test was as simple or as complicated as you made it. For me the easiest parts were the reading, english, and science. The math gave me a little more of a hard time because it had some conversions I forgot and those dreaded word problems. :) A lot of the problems in the exam no matter reading, english, math, or science actually had you participating in the question to get the answer for instance on question said to put your finger on the figure then move it left or right up down, etc.. then once you got through the entire paragraph it asked what your answer would be. I should know my results by tomorrow, I think I did ok maybe not the top 95% but well enough to have passed it. :)

Good luck on your TEAS, my school said they always are backward they accept you then you have to take an entrance exam.. :p

Hi, What school did you apply to that accepted you first and then let you take the TEAS? If you don't do well lets say, will you still be in the program. Do they take you out of the nursing program. And also, the TEAS book, does it really help. Is there a class that might help me prepare better. Or any other advice you can give me. Thanks.

I took the test in May 2005. I got 98th nation wide. The actual test questions are easier than sample quesitons in the study guide.

I didn't get close to that but it was passing for the program. I got pretty high scores in the reading, science and english sections but that math section threw my average.

I finally got to register for my classes now onto getting the physical and all of these shots done in time for August 15th. I have to order my nurse pack and stethoscope but I don't need that stuff till clinicals start in January.
