Hey everyone,
I don't want to go into alot of detail yet about my situation but, I'm a university student with a disability and I want to be a nurse so badly, I know it's what I was meant to do.
My Questions are:
Did you find it hard getting a job because of your disability if so how did you overcome this? were you successful in getting a job
Did you disclose your disability to your nursing school/on your application?
did you not get accepted because of your disability?
If you did get accepted how did overcome the obstacles you faced
do you have any tips or comments that could help me in applying when applying to nursing

Hi,
Is your disability one that is visible? If so you really don't have much choice but to disclose. If it isn't unless you think you are going to need special accomodations, which sadly I bet will not go over too well, I wouldn't tell. Just my two cents though. Good luck and if you are physically able do the job you will find a way to become a nurse.
