Hey everyone, I don't want to go into alot of detail yet about my situation but, I'm a university student with a disability and I want to be a nurse so badly, I know it's what I was meant to do. My Questions are: Did you find it hard getting a job because of your disability if so how did you overcome this? were you successful in getting a job Did you disclose your disability to your nursing school/on your application? did you not get accepted because of your disability? If you did get accepted how did overcome the obstacles you faced do you have any tips or comments that could help me in applying when applying to nursing

I know different jobs. I mean more, when a nurse goes through in a run of a day besides piatent care.

No actaully it's not a homework assignment, I'm not even in nursing school yet, I'm not applying til fall '09. I was more reseraching then anything i wanted to get some peoples opinions. I guess what i was looking for was more was beyond paitent care, what is there ascept wise? Besides just helping people and making them better.

what are some different aspects of nursing? or what you would define as aspects of your career.

Does anyone have any tips on filling out the personal statement section on your nursing application. Any ideas on what kinds of things would make me appeal to the admissions commitee more then someone else, besides my absoulte passion, determination and drive. I'm really looking for tips on how to express that in my application. Please help! any answer is better then no answer.
