Financial Aid for Pre-Reqs?!

has anyone received Stafford Loans to fulfill their pre-reqs?

I already have a Bachelors but I'm not even close to maxing out my federal Stafford Loan limit (I've borrowed $16k out of a possible $52k in Ohio) but I met with a financial advisor who said she doesn't know if you can borrow Stafford Loans for just pre-reqs?

I already filled out the FAFSA and I'm waiting for 2 wks for the results from the school but i was wondering if any of you had borrowed Stafford Loans for pre-req work? Subsidized, unsubsidized, i don't even care!

I am still completing my pre-reqs and I have sub and unsub stafford loans out.

Pre-reqs are technically part of the program, because you must have them in order to qualify for a program. So i don't see why you would have any problem. I have years of sub & unsub loans, before i was in the nursing program and now while i'm in it.
