After many attempts at the NCLEX I finally conquered it! I want to give God all the glory. He gave me so much strength to keep going and to keep studying to pass it. I graduated in 2010 so it has been a long two years waiting for the day to come that I pass the NCLEX. I just want to say thank you to everyone out there who gave me advice and encouragement down through the years. This site is amazing. It has helped me through this journey of becoming a RN. Also to anyone who is yet to take the NCLEX, you can do this. Believe me if I can do this so can you! Don't ever ever give up your dreams. I wanted so bad alot of the times, but I kept going and pressing onward. I knew one day I would finally pass, and guess what I did. I have a RN license now :w00t:
That's so wonderul, congradulations, Im so happy for you. I know it was a struggle for you but you did it; you never gave up on your dream, yes God is good!
Hey question, did you feel that the test was harder than the first time you took it or about the same?
Ellisjc0507 I would go ahead and study and take it in September. I wouldn't put it off. I think the thing that helped me the most was doing questions, questions, and more questions. I done all the questions on the NCSBN site (learning extension). I highly recommend it. It is only $50 for 3 weeks. It was well worth it to me. Porkey2 I feel like the test was easier than the times in the past I taken it. I knew alot of the questions. I studied hard. Took a week off work, and studied the whole week. I mean I did nothing. No house work, no tv, hardly no face book, and no friends for a week. I feel that helped me the most. I got alot of Select all that apply, infection control, and who do you see first questions. I had no math at all. I was really surprised. I only answered around 100 questions. I was just shocked when it shut off with that less of questions. I thought sure I failed, but guess what I am a RN now! You all can do this keep pressing forward and studying! You will be a RN before you know it.
