Hi Everyone! I am posting because I finally passed NCLEX after trying 4 times and failing. I can honestly say that the first 4 times I thought I was prepared,and I was not even close lol. I was a AB student throughout my entire program, and the pass rate for my school was 98%. So imagine my surprise when I failed the first,second,third,and fourth try. The first 2 times I got cut off at 75 and used Kaplan only. NCLEX was nothing like nursing school,and Kaplan was hard for me to grasp unfortunately. The third time I tried Hurst and a bit of Remar review. Still no good lol. The fourth try I buckled down and got serious with studying. The first 3 attempts I studied but not the way I should've,and it showed. The fourth try I used Remar quickfacts and UWORLD! OMG.....this is when the game started changing for me. This time I went to 265 after being cut off at 110 on the third try. I did not do all 1800 plus questions,I had about 200 left. However, I still went the entire way,and actually felt like I was grasping the critical thinking process. I didn't pass,but I knew I was getting close!The final try I studied a month straight doing nothing but uworld. My friend sent me notes from the excel review which were awesome as well. I did the entire qbank,and finished at 58%. Test day I woke up,ate breakfast,and prayed. It was now or never at this point. What I did differently this time: I read each question 3 times(something I never did before). This allowed me to catch myself if I missed one word that changed the entire question.(This happened ALOT!).I know people say don't change answers. The first 4 times I didn't,this time I did ALOT lol. Again reading the question more than once will help you from making simple mistakes.So please read the question more than once guys. I also had my content down 100%. I went to 97 and the screen went blue! I couldn't believe it,but I knew in my heart I passed. This test was so different from the others. It literally looked 100% identical to UWORLD. I even recall seeing exact questions from UWORLD. Another thing, NCLEX hit me with EVERYTHING I missed in my other test. No lie guys. EVERYTHING! I had 16 sata,3 EKG, 2 drag and drop, and 4 pictures of positions. My next to last question was a pic, and my last question was a very simple one liner. Also the rest of the text was on patient teaching, infection control, and a new question style(delegation teaching to other RNs).People say you don't have to know content,and that isn't true. Last but not least I believed in my heart that because I did EVERYTHING I knew how to do(meaning study my butt off every free chance I got),I would pass. You can do it guys(don't give up)!
Congrats... can i ask how can i access to Uworld bank? Im so frustated already on what to review on my nclex exam . So i will focus on questions and answers only? I think i need comprehensive book review...huhuhu.im taking the exam soon 😓

I am like you was on your first attempts, it just seem like this time around (my 2) i am not very focused and been procastinating, I truly hope and pray that I can really buckle down and study. I think my main thing is that I am trying to study to many different things. Some say study kaplan some say hurst some say sylvia rayfield and some say mark klimek. So I really do not know what I am doing. I have not scheduled my test again yet I have been scared I know that I need to pray and keep pressing on. thank you for your post
