It finally got all too much (the NHS) and several days ago I left my job as a staff nurse, I feel so sad as i do really love nursing, but all the staff shortages, and the expectation of more work with fewer resources has made me opt for a career change (and the thought of an "easier" worklife away from the NHS). Has anyone else left and had a career change (or considered it?). Thanks for listening

It does make me a bit pessimistic about my future as a nurse here in the Uk, as im only a second yr student. Thats why i plan to immigrate once qualified. Do you have any words of wisdom for a second yr about to go into the big wide world of the nhs for a short time.
