After being told I had the job and lots of waiting (total time was about 2 1/2 months), I got "the call!" I start in a few weeks at a hospital close to home.
I just wanted to post because I am not a "pushy" person and HATED calling back time after time to "check the status of the position". I almost gave up so many times but my "pushy" friends told me not to let it go. :loveya: Well, I called...and called again...and again (and so on). Didn't become a "pest" but kept my name in there and finally got the official call to start!!
Do NOT give up!! Apply even if it asks for experience. The job I got said one year experience preferred. They apparently use a blanket posting but it depends on if they are getting any experienced applicants or not...if not, they will train new grads.
Good luck to everyone!!!! I know how frustrating and upseting it is to wait for the phone to ring.
