Wow, that's good. I thought about moving to FL, but heard the market was bad for new grads. You might have renewed my hope!
I heard the same thing! It took one of my friends 4 months to find a job. Another almost a year. There is A LOT of ADN programs here so if you have your BSN, you tend to get a job quicker. Its only been 2 months since I got my FL lisence, & I already have a job. Where do you live?

OH. I have some LTC experience and a ASN.
Congratulations!! I am currently in nursing school and working on a research project on new grads who find a job within 6 months of graduating and what they did during nursing school. During nursing school did you volunteer anywhere? Have an externship? Work in a hospital? Thanks!! I hope you love your new job!

I did not volunteer, have an externship or worked at a hospital lol.

I passed the NCLEX on Jan 7th, moved to a different state in March...took a month to get my new license & this morning I got a job offer! I start July 7th working on a medsurg/oncology floor! "7" must be my lucky number! I was surprised how fast I was able to get a job! Don't give up new grads!
