Yea! Im so happy that finals are over. i took my last one today, will find out how i did later on, but im sure that i passed everything. Two semesters down, three more to go  but at least i have a nice summer with no classes (and im definitely only working ONE job this summer- worked about 6 weeks straight with no days off last summer). anybody else done and super excited? :)

I took my final yesterday. Got a 91.58%!

I am so looking forward to having a fun summer with my family. I clean out my office today, putting away all of my nursing school stuff, and tossing out my old notes. The only thing I left out is my NCLEX book. I plan to do a few questions each day until school starts again in August. One more semster to go!!

Good luck on your test scores! And you enjoy this summer also. 6weeks with out a day off is nuts!!

:)

Took my last final today in Peds, gonna take the HESI next week, passing it is required to advance to senior year. Then.....it will be over for a while and I can relax!

I'm releived too. Now I have to sit home and wait for "the call" until 6pm and see if I failed. I doubt it, I only needed 55 points to pass on the final, but I really wanted more than that. Most of the questions were ok, but some had doubnle answers and picking the primary answer was difficult.

All of us are nervous about the phonecall, but we only get one if we didn't pass the semester. I have paperwork for my clinical instructor at my evaluation in the morning since I had some improvements to work on.

Have an awesome summer break unles you're taking classes this summer like me-Micro!

I'm done too, but I have 6 more semesters to go. Man, sometimes I don't think I'll ever make it. The worst is, I barely just began-HA! The hard part is that my school insist we take at least five classes per semster, not including labs and discussions. Is this how it is at all schools? BSN programs that is?

I'm in an ADN program, and have one more semester to go. I finished Peds today and am breathing a big sigh of relief tonight. And am going to spend some quality time with my babies. They are 4 and 5 years old and have missed fun time with Mommy. :yeah:

Woohoo! Had my last final today too - already know my final grades in all of my classes but one... so far 2 Bs and 1 A. Really stinks that a 90.5 is a B, but oh well. I know for a fact that a minimum of 6 of my classmates (out of 51) have failed our maternal-child course, probably more than that. Not sure how many failed med surg. :o

This afternoon, our program sponsored a tea to welcome the incoming juniors. Thank goodness they held that after finals - since they asked us to work, we were feeling much less bitter and stressed after that final was over. :chuckle

Tomorrow night, quite a few members of our class are assisting with the seniors pinning. After that, its have a few drinks, clean the house, play with the boys, and get geared up for my externship that starts in a week! :)

We have five courses a semester, but that includes "clinical" as a separate course. I have two semesters left to go (senior year), and our courses will include acute, community, leadership/management, theory research, and separate clinical courses for both the acute and community courses. So if you add that up, I registered for 7 courses next term. Yay. :)

Funny thing is, rumor has it that more people fail out of the program via community than any other course. Some students are bitter about that, complaining constantly "they're failing us out and community isn't even on the NCLEX." Go figure.

I am SO happy they are over too!!! I swear..I had the poops all morning before I found out my final grade--I was SOOOO Excited and cried my eyes out knowing that me and 3 of my best friends passed--!! 10 of our group failed, and it was sad, I hated it. I can't wait until the 4th semester to go in it with full force and GRADUATE IN MAY!! It has been a long hard road, don't you all agree????
