Has anyone taken Film as Art?? I know nothing about the class so I am wondering will it be easy enough for me to do this summer or will it require as much time as I hear comparative religion will. I should probably mention that I will be taking the class online, whichever I choose. Any and all advice is welcome.

Don't have a any info about your classes - just wanted to point out that the Comparative Religion course would actually very relevant to nursing practice. Patients' cultural beliefs (which shape their attitudes toward health care) are primarily derived from ethnic and religious practices. . . . Just sayin' . .

I haven't taken either course but if I had to choose I'd probably pick the religion one! Most art courses I've taken were full of busy work bs. Haha but you could ask the profs for a copy of the syllabus before you decide. I've done that....#shameless
Haha, I swear I thought about doing that. I picked the religion class, my advisor for some reason thought I should do art, not really sure why. I just wanted to see would it be easier or something since I've never taken any art classes. I appreciate your response.
Thanks for your response! I knew that the religion course would be more relevant, but I wasn't too concerned with it because when I was studying to become a medical assistant we had to discover different things about the religions that would effect patient care. I am going to just take the religion course though instead of the art class, so thanks again.

As it has been said, any religion class, esp. one that looks at several different religions is exceptionally useful to nursing practice. I took World Religion ages ago when I was but a lowly psych undergrad and to this day I still use that information. Oh, by the way, if you think that a class like that will be difficult to manage during the summer, then take the challenge. You might as well start building your endurance for large school work loads.
Thanks for the advice. It's not that I am not used to the large school work loads because I have always taken more classes than recommended. I even took 5 classes last summer, while everyone else was struggling with one or two. The reason I don't want it to require too much is because I happen to be having another baby in the middle of the summer session. I've managed all my other classes with a 1, now 2 year old, husband and everything else that comes along with those duties; missing a few days to go have a new baby is another story though lol.
