Hi,

I'm still deciding whether to continue on with this or not. I just received my offer from UQ 2 days ago. The tuition is expensive so I still have to sort this through with my family. How about you?

hi! i got accepted to UTS and i am leaving this january...

hmmm...well it really is expensive but if you think you might get more opportunities over there after your studies, then all the expenses will definitely be paid off :) still, it's up to you and i hope you'll get your family's permission especially if this is something which you really want :)

I just talked with my family, and I'm expecting more of these in the coming days. =) When does your study start? Do you have relatives to stay with at Australia? I, unfortunately, don't have any, thus the great deal of discussion. I hope things work out well for both of us. =)

hey come to Au and study :)

Curious to find out what you guys are coming to Australia to 'study' for. 'Studying' over here doesn't really equate to work if that's your ultimate goal. You also need to find out what work will be available for you after you finish because it needs to be in the shortage occupation list.

I assume you are a nurse in the Philippines, I'm a bit concerned that you have not clearly identified what you are 'studying' here in OZ from your original post. 'continue your studies'- does that mean study nursing?

Just to emphasize that if you study in the Enrolled nursing course program that usually takes around 15 or 18 months then you'll find that you will not be able to get a work visa here in Australia because it is not in the shortage occupation list. If you are going to do a Bridging Program then you should really read this thread
