Hi guys! I am a Filipino R.N. who is looking forward to work in Singapore as a Staff Nurse. Luckily, I have passed the employer's interview last May 2014 as well as the SNB Examination for Registered Nurses (Singapore Nursing Board). I took the board examination last May 2014 with the help of a local manpower agency here in the Philippines and the results were released last July 2014. After I was informed of my successful examination our batch were advised to pay the initial downpayment which is 50,000Php so that the papers/documents will be processed. I have submitted all the pertinent documents I needed to submit to the agency and some of those documents were sent directly from the university to SNB in Singapore- for the school documents like diploma, tor, etc. and also from the PRC Manila to SNB in Singapore-for the Certificate of Registration, PRC license card, etc. Since I worked in Saudi before I was also instructed to request a Certificate of Registration Copy from the Saudi Health Council (equivalent to PRC) directly from Saudi to SNB in Singapore. It so happen that i have friends that are still in the kingdom, so I asked them to do it for me. I got the Fedex tracking number and the Scanned receipt of the transaction as well. So I am sure that it already arrived in Singapore last year. Sorry for the long details but my concern is up until now, it will be almost a year this coming May and I did not yet receive my SNB approval which is needed so that I can work already in Singapore. I have followed up my application many many times to the coordinator of the agency that is handling my papers. And she says the same thing, that I have to wait. The agency I applied with is a well known agency that deployed numerous Filipino nurses to Singapore. I am really worried because we were more than a hundred in our batch and we are down to four applicants who are still waiting. Most of the applicants in our batch have been working in Singapore already since last January 2015. I just like to know if anyone of you guys have experienced this situation I am into right now or you know someone... As much as I want to apply in other agencies I can't because I already paid the initial downpayment and also my original documents are in their hands. Thanks and God bless.
Hi Ms Len! before I saw post from FSL and tells there that they accepted ex saudi provided that they submit pertenent docs such as Good standing from Saudi Council and recommendation letter from Nursing Director or Chief Nurse. This post was last Nov 2017 only. Either we return to home country and work again for 2 years and then we can apply in SG
Hello, I would just like to ask about the SNB. I am currently working in Saudi. I'm planning to apply in Singapore next year. So what steps do I need to do first. I really have no idea. Am I going to search for agency first? Or take SNB on my own w/o agency? Am I going to pay full amount or installment? And how much it would cost me. Appreciate the response guys! Really need it badly.

Hello, anyone can share there experience applying on singapore as ex-saudi? I am going home this december and will try my luck to apply on singapore. Anyone can help or advise? Thanks in advance!
So far, as what I know, the agencies in Philippines does not accept applicants from Saudi. I tried to email the SNB and according to them, as long as you are registered from the country of origin, they will accept for evaluation. Unfortunately, the agencies are saying that is the SNB rule. Still waiting for reply from SNB about the alleged rules as mentioned by the agencies.

I spoke with FSL they don't accept abroad experience as well because the employer doesn't verify employment. There is new post from MIP, they only offer Nursing Aide post for those who worked abroad despite the experience because of the same issue. So it means that even if the a Nurse have more than 10 yrs work experience, they will end up as nursing aide only because you have experience working abroad. They don't want trouble to their side.
