Hello,
I have applied to the Board of Nursing in Australia (Perth) and as of now, I am awaiting for there response. I know that I might be instructed to take a bridging course.
I want to know if anybody here has successfully joined a bridging course and what visa did you use when you attended your bridging course?
Do you have any idea how long is the course and do you have to meet any requirements to be accepted aside from the letter that comes from the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia?
Thanks............:)

hi, what kind of form did you filled up? is it an application form? Because i plan to apply as well in Tasmania, but i don't have one year experience. Are you a fresh graduate as well?
For me, i have applied in Northern Territory. That will be 1 month on July 22. They emailed me before of the papers that i have not included in my application for assessment as an overseas nurse. But after completing all those requirements, i tried to email them regarding my status, they did not reply anymore. I also read from their site that the assessment in NT will take 1-2 months. If 3 months have passed, consider application to be unsuccessful and there will be a letter of explanation why it is unsuccessful.
What do you think is the kindest Council in Australia? Is it NT or Tasmania?

Registration has nothing to do with being 'kind'. It has to do with upholding standards of professional practice.
