Hi, I have a question for whomever can help, I sent my I-131 and I-765 applications to the TSC on April 27 because the ones I have now expire August 12 and August 2. I still have not received my receipt notices and my checks have not cleared. I called customer service several times and they kept saying they are not in the system yet, just wait, they should be up soon. Problem is, I just can't wait any longer. I have been planning to travel home to Canada with my family August 9 and if I don't get the AP papers I wont be able to go home when everyone is there! I know there was a delay in issuing the receipt notices but the TSC was supposed to be compliant by July 20. Is there anything else I can do to get my AP quickly?

Good luck!!! I am also Canadian and just recently finally got a chance to apply for I140/I485. We have not seen our families since October 2006 and hope the process to get I131 is not a super long one but are thinking it may be with the flood of applications we keep hearing about. We are hoping to get over for a visit before Christmas but will be waiting patiently as the process thus far has been a long one.

peachy-keen,
i was able to talk to an immigration officer last month and she told me that if the checks were not encashed after 8 weeks of filing, then it means either the filing fee was incorrect or the application never reached USCIS.....
i called them up because my renewal I-765 check was not encashed after 4 weeks. they encashed my check on the 5th week and i received the denial letter for my I-765 EAD last week.....
did your lawyer sent your application via certified mail? if yes, then just include that in case your lawyer suggest you refile your I765 and I131 again....goodluck

Why did you get denial lettter? I do not get it.
sora sora.....our I765 was denied because we got the greencard already.....USCIS approved my I-485 so they denied my I-765....
Wow Congratulation!!!:balloons:Thanks for your reply.
It's crazy, every time I call the customer service, they tell me somthing different. They should be called the customer frustration line because they have absolutely no idea whats going on.
call the number on your I-485 receipt.....then tell the customer service representative that you want to talk to an Immigration Officer....goodluck
Did that, like several times over the past few weeks. They say they can't help me until the applications are receipted cuz they don't have them in the system. ARRRRRGHHHH!
did you ever think of re-filing again? i believe your I-765 and I-131 would soon expire if im not mistaken....by the way, when is your Priority Date if you dont mind me asking? what service center? texas or nebraska?
