FGCU CRNA 2018

Anyone applying for January 2018?

I'm applying to FGCU 2018!

That's awesome @Marie2222! have you submitted your application?

I am. Haven't heard anything back yet. Have y'all?

Yes! I have submitted my application recently but I have not heard anything yet.

Looks like they extended the application deadline. Hopefully they let us know a yes or a no for interviews sooner rather than later. Plane tickets already looking around $800 for the dates they have scheduled for interviews.

I applied! Can't wait to get the call for an interview. I applied to Barry as well but FGCU is my top choice. Since they extended the app deadline I'm not expecting to hear anything until early June...

I live in Key Largo. Any other Floridians applying or is everyone from out of state?

Not sure where you are coming from but allegiant air out of Punta Gorda has really inexpensive flights. Also you could consider Sarasota is 80 miles away from fort Myers. Ft Lauderdale Miami and Tampa are all 2 hours away as well so you may save a lot of money on airfare considering alternate airports.

I don't think we'll hear anything from them until the end of the 1st-2nd week of June.

Interviews start June 19th according to their website. That's why I'm getting very anxious.

It will be hard for you to book a flight before you get a call from them. You probably will have buy your ticket after you know your exact interview date. Oh I'm sure anxious is an understatement!

Are you all applying for a master's program or DNP for anesthesia? I'm curious bc I'd like to go back to school (BSN-MSN for), but it seems in 2025 the new requirement is DNP.
