I signed up to take the TEAS Feb. 5th. I have a few questions. I've heard people don't have time to look back. I've taken 3 practice tests, didn't score so high, but I had tons of time to go back. During the actual tests, are you able to go back and look at your answers? Also, in one of the sections, there are questions about fencing. How are you to go about those type of problems? I rented the ATI manual, and I still have it. And, if I do good in the reading, math, and English, would I be able to get a high enough score, 70's or 80's, if I totally bomb the science? I would like to get a score of 70 or 80. My college I am applying for, I need to get at least a 64%. I don't think that is too hard, but I really would like to get in. Thanks for the help!

I was able to go back when I took the test. For each section (e.g., math, science), you'll have a few "pages" of questions - however, if you submit the last page then you can't go back. Keep in mind the # of questions for each section, that way you can click back through the pages. This is assuming that you have extra time on the clock.
When you say questions about fencing, I am assuming you mean math questions? Know your geometry formulas - area, perimeter, angles, circles etc.. I'm not sure if you could score in the 80's if you "bomb" the science section. Maybe you can figure out the averages to see what score you should aim for in each section. For example, if you score 80 in the math, english and reading sections and a 50 in the science section, your score would be around 72.

I had time to review all of my answers. In each section, just be aware of the time and how many questions there are. As far as your overall score, make sure you review your school's score requirements. The school that I am applying to requires that you have an overall score of 62.5. But, you must score at least a 60 in each section. Also, have you taken any of the ATI online practice tests? They pretty much mimic the format of the actual exam and can give you an idea of the sections that you need to review.
Good luck!!!

Time was the hardest part for me. I had TONS of extra time during the practice tests, but ran out of time on reading and math in the real test.
You can look back at questions in your current section, but once you advance to the next section, you can not go back.
Regarding the fencing, you need to know how to figure out perimeters.
Science is the most important part of nursing, I would suggest focusing on studying that really hard and not relying just on good scores in the other areas.
