Felician University Spring 2021 Nursing Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Anyone applying for the ABSN program at Felician University for Spring 2020.
I'm currently working on my last pre-req classes, and I will be submitting my application before end of September this year. My advisor, Jessica Brookie, also recommended I take Pathophysiology for this coming semester.
I'm excited to get into the program, and would love to be in contact with anyone who is in the same boat as me!

Hi what are the chances of me getting accepted to Felician school of nursing with a 3.6 GPA and having all of the prereqs done except like 2 classes? Im a transfer student

@hira

I had the same question not too long ago, I spoke with one of the advisors and he informed me to finish my associate degree that way I will be more competitive, this was for the ABSN. The traditional I believe the waiting period is 5 to 6 months before you will know if you get into the program. you should also look into Williams Paterson University. They don't require any entrance exams, no letter of recommendation, or an essay. But I believe that they're way more competitive, they only admit 18 students per semester.

Yea I didn't get accepted because I didn't finish a lot of my prereqs. I took my TEAS exam today for bergen and I got such a low score I've been crying all day ? Im looking into more schools

but how come the wait is so long? Is it long for only transfer students? Because I remember applying in 2019 when I was a senior in high school and within 3 weeks they let me join the Prepare a Career in Nursing program, I didn't accept though.

@hira

If you are willing to travel you can try Long Island University in Brooklyn, they take everyone.

They're very expensive tho, this school will be my last resort if I can't get into another program.

LOL literally me !

@hira

I am not sure why Felician took so long, that what I was told.

LIU Brooklyn doesn't require an entrance exam, or personal statement, they do however require two letters of recommendation.

@hira

I attach their prerequisites if you are interested.

Do they have like a limit of people they accept? Because I know so many people from my school that barely get As and they still got accepted.....

@hira

I am not sure about Felician but for LIU they take a lot of students.

Hey did anyone take patho for felician ABSN? Did anyone get accepted to their program?

I haven't but I'm thinking about applying. What are the requirements? I applied to their BSN program in November but still didn't hear from them. They said they aren't reviewing nursing applications at the moment, I've been in contact with them.

@hira

hey I applied for that one and a counselor said she was not sure when they will start to review them.
I also applied for the ABSN and a counselor reached out to me and gave me a sheet to complete pathophysiology course, it’s like a promise contract. But it’s very expensive.
