Can I get any advice from ABSN past students or students who got accepted in 2019 at Felician University?

I got acceptance from Felician University for ABSN 2019. Can former students send me a list of books required throughout the program? or any sort of advice? How much is the cost of books? I want to be prepared for everything before my program begins.
they do use a set text book. I have honestly just downloaded the PDF versions because it is easier for me to search through the book using control find. But during orientation, you have get an opportunity to purchase all of the books for the first semester. It is very expensive.
Some professors recycle questions from ATI but I have not seen ATI questions used a ton.
The professors help you to prepare for the exams. They provide guides that have content you can be questioned on.
Please keep in mind, this program is fairly new. There is a lot of unprepared teachers. For example, there are classes that also contain "labs" where you get to do some hands on practice. Those lab professors have no idea when exams are being given, let alone, what the content of those exams are. So you're being taught by highly educated professionals, who work in the field, but they are teaching you based on their personal knowledge; not necessarily what they know will be on the following exam. The argument to this, though, is you must know "ALL" material, not just what you may be tested on in the program. It can be frustrating when each lab professor is assigning multiple assignments that have due dates but you are also trying to study at the same time; simply because the professors did not know we were also preparing for an exam.

It depends on the professor. Some make their own questions and some lecture professors don't even set an exam by themselves they get from other faculty. so style varies but it all about critical thinking.

thanking in advance.
Hi everyone,
I'm currently in the Felician ABSN program and wanted to ask for some advice. I've been hearing a lot about how challenging the exams can be, and I really want to make sure I'm preparing the right way.
For those of you who are in the program now (or recently completed it):
How are the exams structured?
What materials should I focus on most (PowerPoints, textbooks, ATI, NCLEX practice questions, etc.)?
Do you have any study tips or strategies that really helped you succeed?
Anything you wish you knew earlier about managing time and staying on top of things?
Any guidance would be super helpful — thank you so much in advance!
I ended up graduating in 2022 and at that time, I would stay studying the textbook, PowerPoints and quizlets helped a lot. ATI wasn't something I focused heavily on. I know NCLEX has changed a little but I used to do NCLEX style questions. I utilized "simple nursing" to help me learn things and I feel like that worked. Overall it's challenging, we lost half our class and ended up graduating with only 10 of us out of I believe we started closer to 20, but just keep pushing and you'll graduate!
