Felician University ABSN 2019

Can I get any advice from ABSN past students or students who got accepted in 2019 at Felician University?

Published

I got acceptance from Felician University for ABSN 2019. Can former students send me a list of books required throughout the program? or any sort of advice? How much is the cost of books? I want to be prepared for everything before my program begins.

Thanks for your input. I was very nervous going there and don't want spend all this money to fail

Hi Yes thats my fear.. But I am determined ...I also am trying to find some one he has gone though this program .. to ask for advice

Are you in the tradition 24 month or hybrid?

I am in the hybrid program. I wanted to know a little more about it. If I should go or not because I don't want spend all that money and fail

I am about to start September

Its tough. I think all nursing schools are tough though. The school is unorganized. But if you stay in your lane, self study (youre on your own in the hybrid program), and keep up, you should be fine. We had a lot of peopke drop out the first month because of how overwhelming it is.

you have been a really helpful. I was a little hesitant about the hybrid program. One last question how dows testing goes with the program.

testing is scheduled ahead of time (its subject to change). Tests are usually once a week. You sit in a room with proctors, your own laptop that is handed to you once you enter the room, and assigned seating. Once done, you hand in the laptop and exit the room. It usually takes a week to get the test results. Right now, though, because of COVID we have been using an app on our personal home computers. The app records you while you sit and take the exam. Again, all tests are scheduled in advance and you have a window to take it. Any other questions?

Thank you so much!!I got the same information from a different student. This helps alot..

thanks for your help and your input.

good luck in the program

dear K,

thank you so much for your response . I got Felician ABSN (accelerated nursing) acceptance email to start in August. Did you attend or still attending this program?

Can you please send me websites to get the books? ?

Hi, for the ABSN program they don't have set books. but you can use Lewis for a medical-surgical course. For fundamentals, we used Potter & Perry and for Health assessment Jarvis. In the first semester you will start with Health assessment and fundamentals of nursing.

In the first semester you will start with Health assessment and fundamentals of nursing. It will cot you around $58000+ books. You have to buy books for yourself. Throughout my program, I used second-hand books and previous editions. It worked for me.
