Feels like -20 here today

I'm just North of Boston and man is it cold. I wanted to die at 6am when I was out walking my dog this morning. A few towns are closed or delayed start. We have 60 kids out of 220 out today!!

Why be afraid to go out on a limb? That's where the fruit is....

What does this reply mean?

Go out on a limb - take a chance - and reap the fruits as your reward. Thinking about sending in a resume but not sure? Why not? What do you have to lose? You could end up with a really great job. Thinking about saying hi to that cute guy in the coffee shop - extend yourself- go out on a limb and smile and say hi. You may end up with nothing, you may end up with a date.
