I received a C in anatomy. I feel so awful. I'm certain I will not get into the program at my junior college or be able to transfer to the CSU. My grades are mediocre at best. I haven't taken any other science classes yet but I don't think those will save me. I tried my best and struggled as I am a single mother of 4 littles ones. So my real question is where do I go now? Where can I take these classes to change my major so that I can still get into a good career. I am so heart broken. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you taken English 1 yet, in California, it is your single most critical grade. One science C doesn't define your future. Can you realistically do school right now? Maybe you'd be better off taking 1 class per semester, so you can concentrate on grades? One suggestion, STAY AT SCHOOL TO STUDY!

Where are going from now? Where you were going before. I do not understand why so much desperation because of one mediocre grade. Also, are you truly in it for nursing? From your post I did not feel much inclination, since you say you may have a possibility of changing majors and, therefore, finding a good career.
But to give you an advice, if you want to improve your grades, retake the class if you are able to (time and money wise), and try to do as best as you can taking the rest of your pre-reqs.
