I am thinking of going to NCP Vocational School in South San Francisco. I wanted to know if any current students or those that have graduated here, could give me some feedback good or bad?? Thanks!!
thanks for the quick response hanna0225, i realli appreciate it! so they dont ask really difficult questions like " what are your strengths and weaknesses?" im so stressed out cuz im afraid i wont get in. the deadline is near and im not sure if they still have anymore space. my grades are not impressive so im depending on my essay and interview.i kind of got down the why i chose the profession part but having a little trouble explaining my skills and characteristics. can u or anyone give me some suggestions? this is what i have so far;my working experience has allowed me to interact and communicate with people of all ethnicities and ages. being able to speak chinese (mandarin) fluently has allowed me to become a translator for other non-native speakers. i believe this can be a good asset to the profession since the asian health care community is still underserved. besides being bilingual, i’m a very approachable person and always eager to meet new people. as a team player, i have always maintained good relationships among my peers because i’ve always treated them with the same respect that they had given me.
i am a person with a lot of patience and who would go out of my way to assist someone who is in need of help. i understand that providing quality patient care is essential in the nursing field. at my current job, i’ve always contributed in providing the best customer service and making sure that they are satisfied with their service.
no, they didn't ask me the "strength & weakness" question lol!
i hate that one, they probably won't. they will review your answers on the questionnaire before they talk to you. characteristics.. hmmm you can say things like, you're compassionate, quick-adaptive learner, and assertive. hope those help!
are you done with their pre-reqs and the hobet exam? just curious!
