February 2018 California cohort

I just got a call today that I got into this cohort. Did anyone on here also get in? I want to meet some people I'll be doing the program with. Super excited!!

yay congrats!! I am still waiting....if you dont mind sharing what were your stats? Gpa/TEAS/ first time applying? BSN prelicense? or LVN/RN to BSN ect

I will be in the prelicensiure program. My GPA is 3.7, teas score 86. This is my first time applying

awesome!! Im really hoping I get in but my GPA is only a 3.3 right now...Im looking at a 3.5 at the end of this semester but whether that will be considered or not I have no idea... and my TEAS 84. This wait is killing me though...Did they send you an email as well? As of right now, I'm still labled under consideration in the portal!!!

Do you have any medical licenses? Do you have experience in the medical field? JW because I am applying to CALI's next year and I have yet to see an entering class profile.

I know that holding a degree, license, experience increases your chances of being chosen but I don't think its the only thing... Have you been in touch with an enrollment counselor? Where in Cali are you?

I got accepted too!! I have to confirm with the counselor today by 420! What are some of the reasons for choosing this route over a traditional school? I'm nervous I guess because of the lack of classroom interaction day to day.

I have been in touch with an enrollment counselor, but they have been pretty vague. The answers are just a GPA over 3.0 makes you competitive. I see by your name you have a CNA license and I am assuming some years of medical experience. There is a point system, but it is not available for students as with other nursing schools.
