Just relax, I know this is hard. I just re-took my RN yesterday. it was difficult for me to get back on, since it was almost a year (too long!) to test, would never recommend it, but at least this time I came back stronger with content.

So, I am happy that I had the knowledge and also being able to learn the strategy to test. So, just take the time to set the fear and axiety to the side. Always know that you will have your license whether now or later. You will over come this exam, I can promise this. There are so many here who had to re-test, even up to 8 times, so it will happen, and not implying it will take that many for you or even me! But it will happen.

I am waiting, I took mine yesterday, and after all the prep for this exam once again! I still walked out feeling like I didn't know much, it almost felt like I only learned like 5% of reviewing for the past several months.

But all we can do it wait. Don't change your date. Take 4 hours or even 2 a day to review on your weak areas for content, and take 100 questions at least once a day....you will gain the knowledge with content and strategies, and the fear will turn into confidence. It happend for me. I was still nervous until the day to test, but that's normal for us all!

Gain the confidence. I actually took Suzanne's plan, and it was so helpful. I invested so much into nursing. I am nto going to allow this exam to determine my career!

Good luck to you, and keep us posted on how your studying is going !

Also, the random fact throwing thread is sooo helpful. Check it out, the facts really helped me identify where I needed to gain more knowledge in!:saint:

:heartbeat:redbeathe

Thank you so much for the advice, it really means a lot to me...

Good luck, read my last replies about repeat test takers, anxiety and stress reudction/confidence-building workshops and my suggestion about combining KAPLAN book methodology with NCSBN question bank. These are some components of my successful formula in working with new grads. Best wishes!

Hi All, this is my first time posting something. Today i just received a bad news and that was that i didn't pass my nclex pn for the second time. Not going to give up, since i did better than first time. Need advise. on what method to study.

There are many posts in the NCLEX forum with advice on how to prepare. Study as if you had never tested before so that you don't leave anything out. Good luck.
