FAU Traditional BSN 2011

Hello everyone,

After visiting this site frequently for months I finally decided to create an account. Right now I'm waiting to hear back from FAU (should be this month) regarding their 2011 traditional BSN program that starts in May. Needless to say the anticipation is driving me crazy. Has anyone else applied? If so, are there any scholarships that you plan to apply for?...and if you get in what are your housing plans? I'm from Miami and I know Boca Raton is pretty expensive to live in...

I called the office today and a student rep told me that they will be sending out letters by the end of next week. I hope I got in.

You know, this is really crazy. In the emails they sent out after we applied they said we'd find out by February 28th. Even just a few days ago, upon reading another thread, people were being told that we would be receiving letters by THIS Friday...but now all of a sudden it's by the end of NEXT week?? I'm already a little skeptical about my chances of getting in but they are seriously making me have doubts about the organization of the program's staff as a whole. I understand that it takes time to figure out who the best candidates are but come on! The deadline was in mid-November! They gave us a date and I hope they stick to it!...because if not they will be hearing from me on Tuesday .

P.S. Sorry for all of the venting. I'm just anxious and am beginning to feel a little frustrated.

i just got my email. i didnt get in it said the average GPA was 3.84. Good luck to the rest of you!!!!
