Great Grindaholic! Where are you taking your sciences?Anybody from FAU nursing program please let us know what you guys think of the program. Were the professors helpful ? That's my biggest concern.
Hey Nicustudent (and fellow pre-nursing students),
The FAU ABSN program is my FIRST choice. It is ideal because it has the best stats as far as pass rate, expediency, and its extremely close to me. I'm taking my sciences at Broward and will be done this December, just in time to apply.
I'll visit the previous FAU threads...it will be a while before this one picks up.
I am not applying for May 2015, I applied for May 2014 but didn't get in. But it is okay, I got accepted a school that was more of a #1 on my list. But I did get the ATI book they recommend. But I will say for the Science Portion, it did help to look at old class notes, textbooks, and do a little reading in addition to the ATI book. But I would look for trends on TEAS, there a lot of people who can tell you what they did and then you can decide what works best for you.

Hello,
I am new to this site. I am planning to apply to the nursing program at FAU for May 2015. I am not sure whether to take the Traditional or the Accelerated route. I will have my bachelors degree from FAU this December 2014. I heard they also have interviews. I wonder how many questions they ask???
Does anyone know if it's harder to get into the traditional or accelerated program?
If anyone that just got accepted for May 2014 what was your cum gpa, science gpa and teas score, and how did you study for the teas and how long you studied the teas for.
