Anyone applied to FAU for this May and gotten any feedback? I sent in my transcripts, etc., took the HESI, and have heard nothing.
I have no idea, I have been checking my FAU email and to see if there has been any changes in my status in OWLS and nothing. It would make sense for us to know before March that way we could have enough time to take care of all the things they will want us to do before class starts (background check, BLS, ect). But that is just wishful thinking.
I received an email regarding acceptance into the accelerated program on Friday, Feb. 13. There was an attached document to accept or decline the offer and it is due back by Feb. 20, otherwise the seat will be given to another candidate.
What have you all heard about the nursing program at FAU? Good, bad, average? I contacted Latchmin regarding NCLEX test prep, she replied that FAU doesn't help the student prepare for the exam. Any information or opinions would be appreciated. Good luck
My mom got her BSN from FAU, and several of my friends went to FAU as well. My take from the program is that it is what you make it. You get out what effort you put in. The caring philosophy carries through the whole program and they really have a holistic approach to nursing. Congrats on your admission. By the way what was your GPA, Hesi Score, etc, if you don't mind.
I got an email in my personal yahoo account from Maureen Brooks. I just received it Friday. There was attachment that we have to send back in order to accept or decline the admission, but there was there wasn't a lot of other information. In the letter it said that once we accept admission we would start receiving other emails with more information.
