Thought I'd start a thread for the Spring 2021 intake of the FAU P/T BSN. Has anyone else applied (and heard back) yet?

Congrats! I got mine on the 2nd & I really recommend getting the to do list (step 1 on the PDF) done sooner rather than later since castle branch takes a little while to process the documents& background check. My due date is the 15th, but your due date is probably different.

Wow thanks for letting me know I will do!

Question, how did you go about getting your fingerprints done with DAON?

Sorry, I just saw this. I’m pretty sure I went through the castle branch to the DAON website and scheduled an appointment at a UPS store with first availability. Also, calling the castle branch 800 number is very helpful.

Hey ? I'm graduating in December 2022. So as long as you know that it is a bit pricey, that being said, it's worth it in my opinion. The "part-time" still feels like an Accelerated BSN. It is definitely possible. There are a lot of students who are working full-time jobs or recently became parents throughout the program. I liked the fact that I can maintain a job while going to school and pay as I go. Some students took out loans, so you have options. Just go into the program knowing you are going to sacrifice a lot of everything and this goes for any nursing program. The benefit is that you have more "flexibility" of meeting once a week for lecture, and have your clinical rotations on Friday- Sunday. It's a tough program, just like any nursing program. Hope this helps. Good luck!
