FAU FNP class August 2018

Hi everyone,

I applied for the BSN-DNP program, but couldn't find a discussion on it. I have my interview tomorrow morning in Boca. Did anybody have their interview already? Good luck everybody.

Congrats and good luck! I'm unfortunately waiting on nursingcas to verify my transcripts and they might make me miss the deadline. I'm devastated as they never told me there was an error receiving my first transcripts until a few days ago.

I'm so sorry! How long ago did they let you know about the "error" and what was it? Mine just got finished being "processed" last Monday (2/5) and I okay-ed them that evening after work. I called FAU to see if they had what they needed and/or if I needed to be concerned about missing any deadlines and I was told no and that they would review once it was verified.

I called NursingCAS today just to get clarification about this second verification process and they said it was in the works, but it would still be 2-4 weeks from the day the professional transcript verification was completed and I confirmed it all until it's "verified." Makes no sense they have to check it again considering they just did it themselves.

They told me three days ago and they apparently lost my transcripts. There's nothing they're willing to do to expedite it and all along I thought I was good to go waiting on an interview. I'm beyond disgusted with nursingcas I can't even put it into words.

Lost the transcripts?

Funny I read this because I got an email today just after seeing this that they were missing a transcript from me from a school I never attended and have an official letter from the registrar indicating such. It pops up sometimes (not since 2014), so I've dealt with this in the past.

Are you able to submit the application at all? It let me resubmit it while my account was still flagged. However, seems like this bumps me back in line for "verification." I did ask what verification entails, to be clear, and it made no sense to the person with whom I was speaking with, either, considering they already did a transcript evaluation and check.

My application is submitted but on their end I show up as unverified, and they don't view unverified applications

Are you sure? When I called concerned about all of it I was under the impression they could view it and I'd be okay as long as it was submitted by 2/15.

I'm honestly not sure at this point. She said they would "keep rechecking it" for the next four weeks to see if I had been verified. At a loss

My application just got verified at 5:00 pm today and I am looking at my GPAs and my head is spinning. I have two bachelor's degrees and coursework spanning over ten years with 230 credit hours going into this, so there are a lot of numbers and they're a bit choppy. :confused:

What GPA from Nursing CAS should we be looking at as for what FAU is going to go by? I was told they use the last 60 credit hours, but I do not see one specifically for that or that would identify the last 60 specifically. When I called and asked how they determine it since they want Nursing CAS to evaluate EVERYTHING even though they only look at the last 60, I was a little confused because it seemed counterproductive to have everything evaluated just for them to have to re-do it again.

Mine is as follows:

- One GPA for each institution attended (six schools spanning from 2004 through 2015 with six GPAs there alone)

- English

- Math

- Other Courses

- Social Sciences

- Freshmen

- Sophomore

- Junior

- Senior

- Post-Baccalaureate

- Cumulative Undergraduate

- Overall
