Applications are open for FAU's January 2015 enrollment date! With just over 4 months until the deadline and 8 months to the start of the program, now seemed like as good a time as any to start a forum to ask questions, relay information, and support possible future classmates.
To start off, I was wondering if any one knew if they normally offer a ABSN program that begins in the Spring. I had only heard of admittance to the Summer semester at the beginning of May.
I'm very frustrated too. I'm calling the school Monday if we hear nothing this weekend. I have no idea why they said they will contact us on a Saturday. Very unusual.
Don't be anxious Debblasko. FAU is competitive but many, many applicants are thrown out of consideration for not meeting the minimum requirements ( GPA too low, TEAS score too low, incorrect prerequisites, incomplete application). Plus, this thread is not nearly as active as the previous years' so there may be a smaller number of applicants(hopefully). I keep my fingers and toes crossed but I always send positive thoughts out into the universe. And make sure I have a solid backup plan;)
Hi everyone! I just called them and they said that they were waiting on the board to approve the list and once this happens they will send out the emails!

Last year they said they get around 800. But we are in a unique application cycle so I can't say how many people met the new deadline.
