Fast track nursing?

Hello does anybody no about fast track nursing programs for students who failed the nursing program in their senior year. A good friend of mines unfortunately did not make it. You see I go to school in southern new jersey at helene fuld school of nursing the course take 3yrs from nursing 1-6. She did not make it in nursing 5 unfortunately with the school policy you only get on time to fail a nursing course and repeat, well this was her second time. If there is anybody out there that could point me to some links I would glady appreciate it. I would hate for her to start all over again she has a new baby and delivered towards the end of the semester and I believe she would have been fine if she did'nt have any distractors. She is a single mom who is trying to do the right thing for her and her child. I have seen her in action with her patients while we were together in clinical, and I gotta tell you she would make on hell of a nurse. Please help.

is it possible in NJ to challenge LPN boards and work as an LPN for a while and then transition to RN? I know it's possible at some of the larger schools in FL

Doesnt Excelsior college take credits and allow students to finish if the have left school for some reason? They are an online program. Otherwise, the LPN idea is a good idea. Good luck helping your friend! I'm sorry things turned out for her this way!!
