Hi Sierra. I just completed my program in May. I am thankful I got through it but the organization could be a lot better. There will be communication issues and things you will just have to figure out and speak up if unfair. My best advice: just do what they ask - even if that means submitting the same paperwork or assignment 4 times! Smh.

Thanks for the advice...Congratulations on finishing! Let me know how you do on your state boards. Did you do the program on campus? I went to FAM for my first undergrad degree, and then did a separate bachelor's in nursing which was partially online and partially on campus. I know it will have challenges of its own, I just hope it prepares me for practice.

Hello all! I know this is an old thread. I applied to FAMU online program for Fall 2020. I have not heard anything back. Whenever I call there is no answer. How long did was it before you guys got your acceptance? Was it by mail or email? And does anyone know a direct number or person of contact? Please help

Its probably because the campus is closed, I think it was a few weeks until I got an acceptance. I was communicating with someone from the office of online studies, not the nursing school. 8505993460

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone honestly, but its doable.

Hi, @RN-MarieCONGRATS on your acceptance. I graduated last year from FAMU. As you can see from the above comments, the program has room for improvement, but it is doable. You will need to take responsibility for your education and years as much as you can in clinicals.

Just wanted to chime in. I will be attending agnp program after graduating from famu 2008. And according to the previous writers  it seems as organization haven't change.

I wanted to know is there anything you recommend reading prior? Or any study tips? And as a working oarent how much time was required to study? Any insights eould be great?
