Can anyone offer advice or tips on keeping a household running while going back to school? I have two school aged children and a toddler to care for while juggling my own education. Even examples of what not to do from personal experience would be helpful!

I make lists. Lots of lists. Things I need to do for each class, things I need to do for life, my kids, myself. I write each new week the Sunday before, and use a moleskin notebook to keep track.
This is what it looks like: Instagram
The color of ink I use is the color of the binder I use for that class (and the header color for the class in Canvas), so it's easy to see exactly what I need to do.
I sit down with my husband on Sunday, too (often while I'm making my list) to discuss schedules for the week (I homeschool my kids, so we have to plan carefully). Any big family events, or things that impact all of us go on our big dry erase calendar, which looks like this: Instagram
I make shopping lists as I run out of things, or have meal ideas. I try to cook in batches so I have stuff frozen and ready to use, but honestly I'm rarely home before dinner most days, so we eat a lot of eggs and sandwiches for dinner just now.
I also keep a personal calendar for dates and events that are further out (like, I went in and filled all my tests in, so I know what's coming up next). I also use this to populate my to-do list.
So basically, stay as organized as you can. Or try to :)

Not easy to balance... And I don't have a toddler, just two in elementary.
I've let the house work go a bit, and passed more on to my children to take care of (they need to learn this anyway).
My husband is so supportive- me going to nursing school improves his future as well. It's helpful just knowing that he's got my back. He willingly does more for our kids.
I make a list of what I have due each week to make sure I don't miss anything.
My biggest problem is taking time for myself. I really need to take time to exercise, but find studying taking a higher priority.
